Do I need a second photographer on my wedding?

I’ve photographed 75% of my weddings alone without issues. With the right amount of communication, planning, and expectation, one photographer is capable of documenting a wedding well. However, not every wedding is the same. Based on my 10+ years of photographing weddings, below are 5 reasons to have a 2nd photographer.

Muir Beach Wedding at The Pelican Inn

I’ve photographed a couple of weddings at The Pelican Inn before. However, this wedding was by far my favorite at this wedding venue and of my entire 2022. Alex and Molly’s wedding was intimate, simply and very tasteful. Besides the carefully thought out details, this bride and groom was every photographer’s dream.
