What are mini sessions? A limited series of short back-to-back photoshoots only offered in the fall or spring. Sessions are for anyone and long enough to get a handful of good photos for holiday cards, annual family photos, a special announcement or just because. Dates, locations, times are set and planned ahead for you. All you need to do is book and show up at the location on the day of.
Mini sessions cannot be booked outside of what’s currently offered or available below. Don’t see something that works for you? The only other option is to book a regular portrait session.
After a well and long deserved rest after a very busy fall/winter season, I’m ready for spring mini sessions. Also, how is spring happening already? It’s true what they say. The older we get, the fast time seems to cruise on by. I don’t think I’ll ever get use to this.
Continuing with the topic of Spring Mini Sessions. This year, sessions are coming to two new locations that I’m excited about: Berkeley, and by popular request, the AZ Cactus Garden at Stanford. Unlike the fall season, spring mini session dates are very limited. So, if you see a date that work, book quick.

No. HOWEVER, more people does NOT equal more photos. The larger your group, less time we’ll have for various groupings. Add active children or pets into mix and it can get a bit stressful on your end. If your group includes 7+ people, I can’t guarantee to deliver 25 ‘good’ photos. If you’re ok with that, then book away!
All mini sessions are non-refundable (no exceptions). You may reschedule to an available mini session within the current fall season by emailing Rosa at hello@rosadelgado.com.
If you request to reschedule 3 weeks or less before your original booked date, a $50 fee will apply. If your original date is filled by someone else, the rescheduling fee will be refunded.
Session will be held rain or shine (no exceptions). If it pours rain, sessions will be moved to an alternative outdoor location with cover.
Multiple families are scheduled during each session, every week between September thru November. I love and care about all my clients, but it’s challenging to accommodate individual needs. Therefore, mini sessions will not be postponed if it rains. Rosa will make final decision.
Anything below AQI 155 will continue in it’s original location. Anything above AQI 155 will be reconsidered and may be moved into my studio located in Benicia, CA.
Again, because multiple families are scheduled for each location, I cannot make individual accommodations.
About 7-10 days after your session, you'll receive a gallery with about 35+ edited photos to choose your final 25 photos. Final photos will be emailed within 48hr after confirming your final selections.
Yes! For an additional fee, you can purchase extras or all your beautiful photos. You can pay ahead at the time of booking or wait until after seeing your photos.
Schedule a regular session. Regular sessions are 1 hour long, include 45+ digital images, your location/time of choice and online download of your images. For details and availability, email Rosa at hello@rosadelgado.com. Availability for a regular session is extremely limited during the fall season.
The only location where dogs are not allowed is Los Altos and Stanford. There are no exceptions on this at all.
All other locations allow dogs on a leash.
