2023 Northern California Fall Mini Sessions

I cannot believe I am typing this: booking for my San Francisco Bay Area Fall Mini Sessions is officially open! It feels like it was only a couple of months ago when I was driving all around the Bay Area, photographing dozens of families and couples. Time flies when you’re busy and having fun.

This year, Fall Mini Sessions will be coming to two new locations: Ocean Beach and Cavallo Point. Both locations are unique, and beautiful. And, let’s be honest, they’re both pretty windy—so keep that in mind while booking.

If you see a location or date that works, do book sooner than later. Last year dates sold out in about a month (and no I am not lying either).


What’s a mini session? A limited series of short back-to-back photoshoots that are only offered in the fall or spring. Sessions are 20 minutes long—just enough time to get a handful of good photos for holiday cards, updated annual photos, a special announcement or just because you want a few good photos. Dates, locations, times are all preset and planned ahead for you. All you need to do is book a date, a timeslot, and show up at the location on the day of. Mini sessions are only available on the dates/times offered below—they cannot be booked on any other date/time/location.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Mini sessions are for EVERYONE. Engaged couples, families with or without children.

  • No. HOWEVER, keep this in mind: more people does NOT equal more photos. Mini sessions are limited to 20 minutes. The larger your group, less time we’ll have for various groupings. Add active children or pets into mix and it can get a bit stressful on your end. If your group includes 7+ people, I can’t guarantee to deliver 25 ‘good’ photos. If you’re ok with that, then book away!

  • If it pours rain, sessions will be moved to an alternative outdoor location with cover. Multiple families are schedule during each session, every week between September thru November. I love and care about all my clients, but it’s challenging to accommodate individual needs. Therefore, mini sessions will not be postponed if it rains. Rosa will make final decision.

  • Anything below AQI 155 will move forward in it’s original location. Anything above AQI 155 will be reconsidered and may be moved into my studio located in Benicia, CA.

  • About 7 days after your session, you'll receive a gallery with about 35+ edited photos to choose your final 25 photos. Final photos will be emailed within 48hr after finalizing and confirming your selection.

  • Yes! For an additional fee, you can purchase extras. You can pay ahead for all extras at the time of booking or wait until after seeing your photos.

  • You may reschedule to an available mini session within the current season by emailing Rosa at hello@rosadelgado.com.

    If you request to reschedule 3 weeks or less before your original booked date, a $50 fee will apply. However, if your original date is filled by someone else, the rescheduling fee will be fully refunded.

  • Depends on the location. No dogs allowed in the Los Altos location. If dogs are not allowed at a location, you’ll see a “No Dogs” note.

  • Schedule a regular 1-hour session. Regular sessions include 45+ digital images, your location/time of choice and an online download of your images.

    The fall season is my most busy time and availability for a regular session is extremely limited, especially on a weekend. Weekdays are more flexible.

  • Yes! Before doing so, make sure the person you are gifting a session to is available. If they are, enter their information on the booking screen. Then, on the empty “Questions?” field, note that it’s a gift for someone else along with your name + email address. Whom ever the session is gifted to, must sign sign a photo agreement.
