Yosemite Photographer: Yosemite National Park Engagement Photos | Miguel + Dulce

Yosemite engagements and elopements in this majestic place will always take my breathe away. No matter how many time I visit. It is one of the most incredible places in California. If you have never been to Yosemite National Park, you must make the trek here and allow yourself to be entirely present to feel the power of this natural wonder.

If you’ve seen my previous work, Miguel and Dulce may look familiar because #1. Miguel is my sweet brother and #2. You may have seen their second engagement in Mount Tamalpais. Yup, they had two engagement sessions (naturally, right?)—long story why. This was their first engagement session. From the moment my brother proposed to Dulce, I knew their engagement session would take place in this exact spot.

We took the drive into Yosemite Valley, and drove up the windy road to this spot. When we we arrived, we were completely taken back by the view. It was breathtaking. There was an indescribable peacefulness that forced us to be calm and gentle. A stillness that made us stand at a still and listen. Being loud and overly energetic felt disruptive. So, no forced smiles or trendy poses. Only a little direction, a few deep breathes to feel the energy of this place, and plenty of precaution.

My hope is that when you look at these images you feel something beyond the love + joy between my brother and his gorgeous fiance.
