Oh, this Sonoma engagement session. Typically, the most challenging part in planning an engagement session is figuring a location to take my couples. Unless, you have a couple like Michelle and Jorge. Before we agreed on a date, Michelle already had two locations in mind for her engagement session. All located in Sonoma, where Michelle grew up.

To my very sweet surprise, Michelle couldn’t have picked a better location in Sonoma. This spot was beyond anything I could’ve imagined. Not only that, we had the entire location all to ourselves.
I had the best time photographing these two while casually exploring this Sonoma gem. From the moment I greeted them in the parking lot, I felt an instant connection. Michelle and Jorge were completely down-to-earth, funny (thanks for all the laughs, Jorge!) and an all around beautiful couple.

Exploring with this down-to-earth, smart and super sweet couple was like the icing to any photographer’s cake. We had so much fun. And, they were naturals in front of the camera. I didn’t need give them much direction at all because these love birds were (and are) so in love with one another. You could feel it in the air simply by the way Manuel admired and held Nancy through the entire session.
I say this all the time, but I really have the best couples. I can’t express how much I enjoyed this engagement session. Wait until I blog their wedding. Stay tuned!

HALF MOON BAY ENGAGEMENT SESSION | CORI + ANDREW
When Cori and Andrew reached out to me about their engagement session in Half Moon Bay they wanted one thing (aside from amazing photos, of course): cliffs with a view of some sort. So, I went off on a scouting adventure and found the best secluded beach in Half Moon Bay.

Aside from being in love the gorgeous view, I loved Cori and Andrew’s personality. This sweet couple was gentle, quiet, but so sweet and down to earth — my type of couple to work with. They were stunning, and seriously SOOOO in love. Their engagement session turned out exactly how I hoped it would.
