Michelle & Jorge's Engagement Session in Sonoma, California
Oh, this Sonoma engagement session. Typically, the most challenging part in planning an engagement session is figuring a location to take my couples. Unless, you have a couple like Michelle and Jorge. Before we agreed on a date, Michelle already had two locations in mind for her engagement session. All located in Sonoma, where Michelle grew up.

Before we agreed on a date, Michelle already had two locations in mind for her engagement session. All located in Sonoma, where Michelle grew up. To my very sweet surprise, Michelle couldn’t have picked a better location in Sonoma. This spot was beyond anything I could’ve imagined. Not only that, we had the entire location all to ourselves.
I had the best time photographing these two while casually exploring this Sonoma gem. From the moment I greeted them in the parking lot, I felt an instant connection. Michelle and Jorge were completely down-to-earth, funny (thanks for all the laughs, Jorge!) and an all around beautiful couple.
Engagement Session at Marin Headlands | Chris + Claire
Engagement sessions at Marin Headlands are my absolute favorite. You get a little bit of everything that makes the San Francisco Bay Area so great. Of course, when we think of San Francisco we think fog and gloom.
Engagement sessions at Marin Headlands are my absolute favorite. You get a little bit of everything that makes the San Francisco Bay Area so great. Of course, when we think of San Francisco we think fog and gloom. However, on this occasion for Claire and Chris's engagement session we had a beautiful clear day. But don't let the sunshine deceive you—it was extremely cold.
We began Chris and Claire's engagement session with a pretty view of the Golden Gate bridge in the background. Away from all the crowds and tourists. We went with the flow, and posed a little in a way that felt natural. At the same time, I watched Chris get all giddy every time he held Claire in his arms or looked at her. It was so sweet and a great day spent with these two love birds.
I am the luckiest person with the sweetest clients and I cannot wait to document their big day next summer.
