Oh, this Sonoma engagement session. Typically, the most challenging part in planning an engagement session is figuring a location to take my couples. Unless, you have a couple like Michelle and Jorge. Before we agreed on a date, Michelle already had two locations in mind for her engagement session. All located in Sonoma, where Michelle grew up.

Before we agreed on a date, Michelle already had two locations in mind for her engagement session. All located in Sonoma, where Michelle grew up. To my very sweet surprise, Michelle couldn’t have picked a better location in Sonoma. This spot was beyond anything I could’ve imagined. Not only that, we had the entire location all to ourselves.
I had the best time photographing these two while casually exploring this Sonoma gem. From the moment I greeted them in the parking lot, I felt an instant connection. Michelle and Jorge were completely down-to-earth, funny (thanks for all the laughs, Jorge!) and an all around beautiful couple.
Engagement Session at Mount Tamalpais | Alex + Veronica
We took the winding road for Alex and Veronica's engagement session in Mount Tamalpais. These two are also one of the kindest and gentle humans I have met. While this was our first time meeting, I felt like we had known eachother for longer than a few minutes.

While this was our first time meeting, I felt like we had known eachother for longer than a few minutes. Everything felt right on this beautiful evening.
We walked around, shared a few magical moments and laughed in between it all. There was also a tear or two during one of their quiet moments as they looked into eachother's eyes. It was a moment that we all felt. Sure, it's awkward to look into your significant other's eyes. But, when you truly look into them quietly, something beautiful happens.
Alex and Veronica are perfect for eachother and I could not be more grateful for capturing the love shared between the two.

How to begin with this Marin Headlands Anniversary Session? I first met Louie and Elena more than seven years ago. We met at a cafe to talk about their engagement session. Little did I know that over the span of many years, I would photograph their first and second pregnancy, family, newborn, first birthdays, and just a couple of months ago, their anniversary session. As a result from all of these milestones, we've developed a great friendship.
We walked through some of my favorite spots while they enjoyed some rare quality time together. The way they looked at each other literally gave me chills and at one point almost made me cry (I'm a helpless romantic!). This was a beautiful anniversary session, and hopefully these images portray the deep unconditional love these two have for one another.
Now, can I PLEASE get more of these types of intimate couples sessions?
