Family Mini Session in Half Moon Bay

One can never go wrong with a family photo session in Half Moon Bay or any beach along the California coast. As I gear up for this year's fall mini sessions I also thought it would be a good idea to share a few of my favorites from last year. 

First up is this gorgeous family of five. This was my second year photographing them. I love everything about them—they are sweet, laid back and overall kind hearted human beings. And, their outfits with he combination of blues, grays and white/ivory complimented the beach scene perfectly. Families, this is the perfect example of how to wear layers, too (take a look at the two littlest ones)!

During this session, the children ran around freely. Others, like the sweet baby girl below, simply stared away at the ocean waves. It was literally impossible for them to get bored. I tell all of my families that children are the bosses during a family session. So, if you want a successful session, pick a location that you know your child will enjoy. 

And, in case you are wondering, yes. I will be holding mini sessions in Half Moon Bay this year.
