Example of the Los Altos location.

If you are reading this, give yourself the biggest hug because you made it through 2020. [INSERT CONFETTI HERE] WHAT. A. YEAR. IT. WAS. With that being said, let’s put last year on the shelf and bring focus to my favorite time of year — FALL MINI SESSIONS SIGN-UPS! I’m so excited to see returning families with their growing babies, couples and meeting new beautiful human beings this coming season.

I should also mention this. While we were in the middle of a pandemic last year, all my Fall Mini Sessions sold out. By all I mean EVERY SINGLE ONE. Promise I am not saying this as a sales pitch. So, if you see a date/location that works for you, I highly suggest booking it immediately.

Before you book a session, read my FAQ’s at the very bottom!

All mini sessions include:

  • 20 Minute Session

•• Click on the date link to see sample of each location. ••
Weather conditions affects nature, therefore we cannot guarantee the location will look exactly as demonstrated in the example photos. We’re currently in a drought—locations may be drier than usual.

Fall Mini Session Season is Over.
See you next Fall!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Are mini sessions only for families with children?
A: No. Mini sessions are for EVERYONE. Engaged, married, simply in love couples are all welcomed.

Q: Can I book a mini session to take engagement/maternity/anniversary photos?
A: Yes.

Q: What if it rains?
A: If it pours rain, sessions will be moved indoors, in my studio located in Benicia, CA or you may be given the option to postpone (all depends on availability). Rosa will make final decision.

Q: What about smokey outdoor conditions due to fires?
A: If it’s extremely smokey (air quality Level 4+), sessions will be moved indoors, in my studio located in Benicia, CA. Anything below air quality Level 4 (low 4 and below) will continue to be held in it’s original outdoor location.

Q: How long will it take to receive my digital photos?
A: About 5-7 days after your session you'll receive an online gallery with about 35+ edited images to choose your final 20 photos from. Once your select your final images they'll be emailed within 24hours after finalizing your selection. Bada bing, bada boom! Easy peasy.

Q: Can I purchase all edited photos from my mini session (beyond the 20)?
A: Absolutely! For an extra fee, you can purchase all your beautiful images.

Q: What if none of these dates/locations work for me?
A: It's best to schedule a private session. Private sessions are 1 hour long, include 40+ digital images, your location/time of choice and an online download of your images. For details on private sessions and availability, email Rosa at hello@rosadelgado.com. Keep in mind, availability for private session is very limited.

Q: How should I prep for my mini session?
A: If you have little one’s, make sure they are well fed BEFORE your scheduled time. There’s nothing more difficult than a hungry and crying baby. Feel free to bring a snack or candy to keep the little one’s happy.

Q: What should I wear during my session?
A:

  • First and foremost, do wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and good (including your child).

  • Avoid being matchy matchy.

  • Do color coordinate your outfits by picking 2-3 colors to work with.

  • Do wear solid colors that compliment each other or choose different shades of that color.

  • Do wear solid, neutral or earthtone colors. These colors work best in photos: white, black, ivory, blue (soft or jean-color), soft or deep brown, mustard yellow, deep green and gray.

  • Avoid wearing neon/bright colors.

  • Layers are your best friend.

  • Patterns work well, but keep them to a minimum or layer them with a jacket/vest/sweater.

  • These are professional photos. Please avoid wearing anything with logos or graphics.

  • Do wear shoes that are comfortable to walk in as we’ll be moving around plenty.

Q: Can we include our dog?
A: Depends on the location. Some locations, like Los Altos, do not allow dogs at all. If dogs are not allowed at a location, you’ll see a “No Dogs Allowed” note. If you’re unsure, email Rosa at hello@rosadelgado.com
