For the record, these gorgeous family photos were taken in the South Bay Area near Santa Clara, CA. Not Italy. Just saying because looks can be deceiving.

We took these photos at the tail end of a weeklong heatwave in the Bay Area. It was hot, but this family was a trooper. Especially their baby girl who had all the energy in the world. Definitely big sister energy with her.

A little backstory: I first met this family about 3 years ago when they were pregnant with their first daughter—who you’ll see pictured here. Can’t tell you how special it was so see them again to celebrate their last few days as a family of three. They are THE most beautiful family.

I am beyond happy with how these turned. My only wish, per forever, is to get more of this light during family photo sessions.
